I'm waiting for my VIP ticket to the "Ceasefire Now" protesters victory rally.

I may be waiting awhile. Probably forever.

Today, October 13th, 2025, is an historic day for Israel and Palestinians and Jews everywhere. Tearful and joyful reunions abound as the living and no longer living hostages return to the Holy Land. The guns are silent throughout the Gaza strip. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) have complied with President Trump's comprehensive peace plan and pulled back. Nearly 2,000 terrorists have been released by Israel as part of the price for peace. Hamas is scrambling to stay relevant as they face internal opposition and pressure to hold up its end of the peace bargain by standing down and disarming. The next step of beginning to build a "Board of Peace" to govern Gaza, all part of Trump's vision, is both bold and fraught with peril, fragile and profound in its potential for enduring peace and prosperity.

It is a surreal sight in many ways to see President Trump, the leader the Left loves to call Hitler, and a fascist, and a Nazi, surrounded by adoring even gushing Arab and Jewish leaders all united in their praise for Trump. Or as he is being hailed throughout the Middle East "The Peacemaker." They are praising him literally in their writing of his name on the sand of their beaches, painting his name on the runways of their airports, and in what can only be called a "Class of 2025" group photo, waiting in line to shake his hand and get a photo with the President of the USA while he (Donald J. Trump) flashes his signature smile and offers his thumbs-up for posterity.
The fact that we are at his moment in history is no coincidence. This is indeed a tribute to both the power of Trump's personality as well as his ironclad commitment to "peace through strength." This day does not arrive unless the President gives the orders as Commander-in-Chief to secretly and swiftly obliterate Iran's nuclear weaponry capability. This move, one in which the Left quickly melted down over with many calling for his impeachment, effectively took Iran off the Middle East chess board. Iran was the funder and puppet-master of all the terror groups sworn to destroy Israel. Hezbollah, the Houthis, and of course, Hamas. With Iran crippled the board was opened for new moves, new strategies, and most importantly, a new endgame. One in which, again, not coincidentally, the vast majority of the Arab world supported because of all the personal and political capital which the President and his Team had been developing there stretching back to the Abraham Accords during Trump's first term.
So, as Arab sheikhs and leaders continued to anxiously await their turn to get selfies with Trump the entire Middle East is now at the doorstep of a new "Golden Era" as Trump calls it, a new era of unprecedented peace and prosperity. Imagine that. Trump certainly did.
Back home in the good old US of A the Left's response was, predictably, much different. Crickets. Anger. Outrage. Hamas, that terror group the Left loves to chant and rally for as they yell "We are all Hamas" has, unless I am mistaken, no victory rallies planned. No marches to rejoice over what now could be a permanent ceasefire, you know, just like the one they have burned US flags over, smashed campus windows over, intimidate, threatened, and attacked Jewish students over, blocked highway traffic over, pitched tents and praised the deaths of Jews and Americans over. Yeah, that ceasefire. Well, they do have a "No Kings" rally planned so there's that little slice of insanity coming to a city near you.
Maybe AOC, Talib, Omar, and Jasmine "nasty girl" Crockett will take a day off from calling Trump Hitler, or his Administration Nazis and Fascists, you know, in honor of today's historic peace agreement. But don't count on it. Almost makes you wonder if all the outrage, hatred, and hysteria for the past 2 years was not so much for peace as it was against the Jews and Israel. And of course, Trump.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9.
